Priest-in-Charge

Father Hyde discerned the call to the priesthood while serving as the Director of University Ministries at Christ Church Episcopal, Tyler, Tx.

In 2022, Fr. Hyde graduated from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin. Shortly after, he returned home to the East Texas area to serve as the Curate at Good Shepherd in Terrell.

Fr. Hyde is passionate about the theology of Robert Jenson and Paul Hinlicky, fly fishing, and hitting the links. More than anything, however, he cherishes time spent gardening and traveling with his wife, Erin, and their daughter, Frankie.
